L.R.Baggs X-Bridge On-Board Pre-Amp - Ctrl-X is another technologic tour-de-force from LR Baggs . It is the first and only onboard mixer that will combine traditional passive magnetics with new-generation active electric guitar piezo bridge pickups, such as the powerful LR Baggs X-Bridge T .

With the LR Baggs Ctrl-X , you can install an active piezo electric guitar bridge, such as the X-Bridge , on your electric guitar without active circuitry messing up the sound of your magnetic pickups. Ctrl-X combined with the X-Bridge will allow you to upgrade your Strat® to the performance of state-of-the-art hybrid guitars at a fraction of the cost! A full description follows. In mono mode, the active X-Bridge and passive magnetic pickups are passively mixed and a standard guitar cable is used. A blend control replaces the middle tone knob, allowing full panning from passive mags to X-Bridge . All tone functions are summed to the third tone knob. The volume knob acts as a master volume. A 3-way switch gives instant access to the stock Strat, mixed, and X-Bridge only sounds. When the 3-way switch is flipped to mags only, the X-Bridge is switched out of the circuit and only the pure stock Strat sound is present.

Fishman Acoustic Matrix Transducer - These very desirable, great sounding undersaddle pickups come in two widths; the Wide 1/8"(3.2mm) Format or the Narrow 3/32"(2.3mm) Format. A standard overall length of 2.65"(67.3mm) will fit most guitars with string spacings of up to 2.5" (63.5mm). You will also need a 9V battery as this is not included.

Acoustic Matrix Natural I
Smaller sized concert / auditorium instruments and nylon string classical guitars will benefit from the slight bass boost in the The Natural I preamp. This version of the Acoustic Matrix can also work well in larger guitars; especially at low to medium stage volumes.

Acoustic Matrix Natural II
The flatter response of the Natural II is a good match for large ‘boomy’ guitars such as scalloped-braced dreadnoughts. Because of its excellent resistance to feedback, the Natural II is also a good choice for all guitars that are played at high amplified stage volumes.

The system includes an Acoustic Matrix under-saddle pickup. All Prefix preamps require a 9-volt battery (not included) and feature a low battery LED. The Prefix preamp offers volume control as well as bass, treble and a wide-range semi-parametric EQ which allows you to isolate certain frequencies and boost or cut them as needed. 3/32" (2.3mm) width pickup for intruments with a narrow sadle-slot.
